Jamie Lynn Spears’ Lover To Face Jail?

Britney Spears’ sister Jamie Lynn Spears might have worked the media to get news of her pregnancy out. But you wonder if she shares the same lack of intellectual development as the famous popwreck.

By telling the world that she’s pregnant at the ripe young age of 16, Jamie Lynn Spears has now thrown her boyfriend and unborn child’s dad Casey Aldridge into possible legal trouble.

Aldridge, 19, may have to answer statutory rape charges if it can be proven that the couple had sexual intercourse in Jamie Lynn Spears’ home state of Louisiana, or in California. Both states have different laws regarding the situation.

However, there’s still a way out for the young man (as with most situations in the U.S.). Criminal defense lawyer Christopher Darden said, “The father of the child may have committed a criminal offense or misdemeanor by having unlawful sex with a minor. But unless the complaint is filed from the minor’s parent, it is unlikely that this will be taken further.”
