R.I.P. Ike Turner

R&B and rock music legend Ike Turner has passed away in his San Marcos home on Wednesday night, aged 76. The cause of death has not yet been verified but sources said he might have died in his sleep.

While the star had major contributions to music, his work was overshadowed by his well-publicized abuse of ex-wife, singing legend Tina Turner who had this to say about Ike’s passing, “Tina is aware that Ike has passed away earlier today. She has not had any contact with him in 35 years. No further comment will be made.”
